I prefer Limit Login Attempts to Login Lockdown. I also use BackWPup as my backup plugin. Other important plugins that I use routinely include My Page Order, Page Link Manager, TinyMCE Advanced, and Widget Logic. For security, I encourage the use of WordPress Firewall 2, and also use Secure WordPress and Semi-Secure Login Reimagined. Optional plugins, depending on the site requirements, may include Capabilities Manager (capsman), CryptX for encrypting email addresses, html on pages, Theme My Login, ttftitles, plus the usual gallery, audio and video player plugins. -- How Carson, PA Server Net
